This devotional book looks at how David poured out his frustration, anger and doubts to God while still acknowledging God as the judge, ruler and creator of the world. Through the Psalms we begin to see a pattern David used to find peace in a violent and troubled world. Each devotion ends with questions to ask ourselves about our own life and how we can be more like David.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Linda Miedema attended Dordt and Calvin colleges for her undergraduate work, obtaining a master’s degree as a literacy teacher from Grand Valley State University, and a Doctorate in Education from Argosy University with a focus on curriculum leadership. She taught Language Arts in middle school, music and various elementary grades in a number of schools for over 26 years before retiring in 2016.
Dr. Miedema is active in her church as a storyteller for the children’s ministry program and has also served as an adult small group Bible study leader. She and her husband reside in southwest Michigan.
